Axon’s Community Impact (CI) Team is dedicated to aligning our mission with the needs of communities, striving to create a safer and more equitable future. By focusing on product equity, the team embodies Axon’s core value of protecting life through smart innovation. This commitment involves investing in responsible product development to promote racial equity and improve community outcomes. In addition, the team builds strong relationships with key national partners to drive product education and invest in collaborative models to build holistic public safety outcomes. These efforts ensure that our innovations not only enhance public safety but also contribute to a more just and inclusive society.

• Product Equity: Incorporating Voice of Community and ethical expertise into our product development process to ensure Axon exceeds its goals for Responsible Innovation. Learn more here. At Axon, we are on a mission to Protect Life. Responsible innovation and a deep focus on ethics and equity within our product development processes are core to Axon's DNA. Established in 2022, Axon's Ethics and Equity Advisory Council (EEAC) is an independent body of U.S. and U.K. based community leaders, restorative justice advocates, and academics whose expertise is nurtured and leveraged to enable Axon to responsibly develop and deploy new technologies. The EEAC shares its insights via the product equity evaluation process on a limited number of products per year, and not Axon's complete product line. Axon Ethics & Equity Advisory Council

In addition to their core focus areas, the Community Impact team owns the relationship and engagement strategy with our Ethics and Equity Advisory Council (EEAC), who’s community expertise is nurtured and leveraged to enable Axon to develop more racially inclusive products. Comprised of an external body of academics, restorative justice advocates, and community leaders, the EEAC share their insights via the product equity evaluation process (e.g., EEAC product reviews) and advise Axon on topics relating to the responsible development and deployment of new technologies.

Share the Table

Share the Table" is a community engagement program tailored to assist agencies with engaging their constituents around new technologies adoptions or enhancing understanding of existing public safety technology. This program has been crafted with the aim of empowering community members with the knowledge necessary to actively engage in discussions regarding public safety technology within their localities. Furthermore, it serves as a catalyst for fostering transparency and building proximity among diverse stakeholders, as they collaborate on solutions to advance mutual public safety objectives.
